Oliver Davies

I'm a 24 year-old Website Developer from Newport, South Wales, and a member of the Drupal Association, and the Web Design and Developers Association. I specialise in building websites using the Drupal content management system, PHP, MySQL and jQuery. I work full-time for Horse & Country TV, as well as working on freelance projects in my spare-time.

I'm currently a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, as well as a qualified Assistant Instructor, Referee and Umpire. I began training in December 2000 in Newport, and have also trained at clubs in Ponthir, Barry and Swansea.

Brief Timeline

• 1986: Born on 7th August in Newport, South Wales.
• 2000: Started training in Taekwondo in Newport under Master Phil Burley.
• 2003: Left school with 13 GCSE qualifications (A-C). Met my future wife, Megan, at a Taekwondo session.
• 2004: Started working for Student Essentials Ltd, a small laptop repair/refurbishment company in Cardiff, as a Laptop Repair Technician. Awarded my 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.
• 2006: Started working for Panasonic as a Laptop Repair Technician, and awarded my 2nd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.
• 2007: Started working for Fujitsu Services - originally as a Technical Support Specialist, later as a Software & Solutions Developer.
• 2008: Megan and I married on 29th August.
• 2009: Awarded my HNC in Computing.
• March 2010: Launched my personal website/Drupal Blog.
• July 2010: Started working for Horse & Country TV, and my personal website reaches 1,000 visits!
• August 2010: My personal website reaches 2,000 visits, then 3,000 visits!
